On 29th April BiLE will be performing in a FREE gig at wearebirmingham shop.
BiLE will be performing new pieces for cello and laptop ensemble, by Julien Guillamat and for metal objects and laptop ensemble by Charles Hutchins. We’ll also be performing network music classic Stucknote by Scot Gresham-Lancaster of The Hub. There’ll also be a chance for you to get involved and find out what’s happening ‘behind the scenes’ with demo performances of Stucknote and Charles Hutchin’s piece Partially Percussive.
There’ll be visuals too from Antonio Roberts.
If you cant make the on the night, or if you’re interested in finding out about the inner workings of a laptop ensemble, BiLE invite you to join them downstairs in the gallery @wearebham on Saturday 23rd April 12-5pm, where they will be rehearsing as well as giving an informal talk and demo of networked laptop performance at 3pm.
